Needlepoint cloth was stretched over this oil painting. Paint brushes dipped in oil paint were then into the needlepoint cloth. This created a unique superimposed texture on the original oil painting. The painting was then photographed and used as a design for carpets produced by the TaiPing Carpet Company.
